Hi! I just wanted to get your thoughts on a sunscreen formulation that I am working on. Here’s my proposed formulation. I haven’t tried compounding it yet:

    • Zinc Oxide (microfine) - 10.0%

    • Titanium Dioxide - 3.00%

    • Vitamin E Acetate - 0.50%

    • Avobenzone - 2.00%

    • Glyceryl Stearate & PEG 100 Stearate - 3.00%

    • HPMC - 0.50%

    • Cetearyl Alcohol - 2.00%

    • Aloe Vera Leaf Extract - 1.00%

    • Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Seed Oil) - 1.00%

    • Dimethicone - 1.50%

    • Glycerin - 3.00%

    • Propylene Glycol - 2.00%

    • Euxyl PE 9010 - 1.00%

    • Caprylyl Glycol - 0.30%

    • Citric Acid - 0.10%

    • Tetrasodium EDTA - 0.20%

    • Water - 72.40%

Could you take a quick look and let me know if everything looks good, or if you have any tips for improving the formula? Thank you!
