Posted by Zara on February 3, 2021 at 5:58 amHi all,
Does storing preservatives in the fridge increase their shelf life?

It depends on the ingredients of the blend. You might want to check the MSDS / SDS if it is possible to be stored at that temperature.

As jemplian said, follow manufacturers’ directions. Solubility of some preservatives decreases at lower temps. With precipitation, fluid dispensed from drums (for example) will not establish effective levels.

We produce Chlorphenesin CAS: 104-29-0, P-hydroxyacetophenone CAS: 99-93-4, Caprylhydroxamic acid CAS: 7377-03-9, and Capryloyl Glycine CAS: 14246-53-8 which are all very good cosmetic preservatives, they are in powder form and can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 years.
Say goodbye to the fridge
