  • Hair softening ingredients in shampoo to use along with a nonionic surfactant.

Are there some potential ingredients to include in a shampoo to give hair soft feeling even after the hair is shampooed and dried?

    Surfactant I’m using is nonionic.

You could try Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Quaternium-80, or Polyquaternium-10.

These should be compatible with coco-glucoside as the surfactant (nonionic) and lowish pH (~5), right? 🙂

Yes, there should be no problem.

Do you reckon polyquaternium 10 would reduce the foaming ability of coco glucoside by a lot?
