    Hi, there!

I’m trying to reproduce a shampoo bar formulation that originally was made with SCI + SLSa. Since we are out of this ingredient I’m trying to adapt to what we have available now. One of my tests was using Iselux + SLSa, but the bar always get sticky and kinda crumbly, i don’t know if the temperature in the process was too high (around 110 °C) and the properties of the surfactants changed, idk.

Does anyone have experience with Iselux (or the combo) for solid shampoo?

I do not have any experience with Iselux but hygroscopy of a particular ingredient has to be considered before its inclusion in a “shampoo” bar formula.
