  Shelf Life/Preservative

  Hi!  Is there a correlation between the shelf life of the preservative used and the shelf life of the product? 
  My formula is anhydrous and uses Geogard 221 which has a shelf life of 1 year. The other raw ingredients in the formula have a shelf life of two years.

  No, there is no correlation at all. The shelf life of any chemical is for that chemical at 100% only.
