  Safe bacteria, yeast and mold levels

  Hello!

  What is a safe/acceptable level of bacteria, yeast/mold in skin care products?  I have seen some numbers around 500 CFU/g.  Is this correct?  Thank you in advance!

  That is extremely high! I am not sure of the background, but our testing lab uses >10cfu/ml as their threshold for a micro failure.
