    Hi,

    Does anyone know if I can make products with Retinol (over the counter) with out making in a OTC facility?

    No.  You need to make it in an OTC facility if you are going to sell it as an OTC.

    But I think you can use retinol in cosmetics in the US…

    You can certainly use shea butter, which amounts to the same thing.

    Yes, you can use Retinol and other forms of Vitamin A in cosmetics.  For example, Retinol, Retinol Palmitate, Retinol Retinoate … no problem.

    You cannot use Retinoic Acid in cosmetics … that is a form of Vitamin A that can only be used in prescription products.

    Can you support this in any documentation? Refined Shea butter or Unrefined?
