  Preservatives

  What are the preservatives to be used when dealing with foams? For body washes, shampoos, hand wash, etc. Thank you. 

  PS: I have one preservative here that I use for color cosmetics and skin care products. It is Euxyl PE and I think it won’t work on washes.

  pH<4.5 and 0.4% sodium benzoate.

  @Belassi How about I use Citric Acid to lower the pH? Also, will Phenoxyethanol will work as a preservative alone?

  Yes. Phenoxyethanol will work as a preservative alone
