    Hi Experts

I have a laymans question regarding oils…  If I combine Polar & Non Polar oils/esters in an anhydrous formula, would this combine to give me a medium polar oil for the purpose of thickening/emulsifying?  Or would this still just be a jumble of oil polarity and using a thickener designed for medium polarity would make the high & low bleed out?

It’s probably a silly question.  I have a range of oils I’d like to gel, with a thickener (Polyamide 3) that best works with medium polar oils.  I’d like to add silicone oils as well.  So just wondered if the miscible oils would balance out to medium polarity rather than high/low.

    Thanks :-)
