    We are formulating a cream for which we have no choice but to use an ingredient that is pretty stinky. I would also prefer not to use a strong artificial fragrance. I wonder whether there are process steps or ingredients that may help.

    Heat with activated carbon, then filter out the carbon.

    Best to look for a wax with equivalent functionality which does not have malodor.

    We want to use an organic one. The non-organic is totally deodorized, but the organic is stinky.

    can  you define odor chemically ie mercaptan-isovaleric acid as in body odors etc?How is it in final product and what is product cream lotion-serum?

    Try Belle Aire  Fragrances for Orderone sample which chelates many odors.

    This is the reason why I will never use unfiltered, cold pressed shea butter again. The smell is simply unbearable!
