not clean beauty BUT i so many requests to dupe or make something similar to these fancy organic lines (cool and indie). And i swear to the universe the INCI of these products are LIES. There is no way the light violet is natural or stable. There is no way the lemony smell is natural. The clients don’t want to believe me of course. Do some of these brands just lie on the INCI? I don’t need to know who, i need to know I’m not insane and incapable of replicating an oil serum.

They lie. Either due to malice or ignorance but they lie.

Yeah. Some people actually believe the cosmetic industry is as unregulated as the NGOs and bloggers say. And if your brand is small enough you can get away with it for a while before the FDA / FTC catch on.

Pure lies…. you forgot to mention preservation. 😂

How many emulsions of small brand have you not seen, that did not even include an emulsifier.

They believe the FDA only has time to fry the big fish. 😉

As they are selling to a ‘special’ clientele, they provide a special LOI. 😂

Yeah true the unicorn tear drop that preserves it all. I get home formulators may not be able to create a proper INCI but i hope that paid chemists are not making this choice (lie)
