Deionized Water, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut), Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado), Vegetable Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Silk Protein, Ammonium Salt, Melia Azadirachta Seed Oil (Neem), Daucus Carota Sativa Seed Oil (Carrot), Sorbitol Esters, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B-5), Caprylyl Glycol, Essential Oil Blend, Lonicera Caprifolium Flower and Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract (Honeysuckle and Japanese Honeysuckle), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Hibiscus Flower Extract

I am not an expert when it comes to chemistry and formulations but is there a preservative missing in the above ingredient list? This product was made in the USA. This is a hair product just in case you are wondering1

The preservative ingredients in this formula are probably the caprylyl glycol and the Honeysuckle extract.

Caprylyl Glycol has some antimicrobial activity and honeysuckle extract contains ‘natural’ parabens.

The preservative is Plantservative from Ross Organics, sold in my area by Essential Ingredients. The Capryl glycol came from one of the extracts and was declared. I can say this since I had some input into the Formula.
