    I wanted to purchase some Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate but the price was 20-80$/g. Is this price normal for this ingredient?

    If not then what is the normal price range for this ingredient?

    It’s extremely expensive. (And not really evidence based.) You would have to charge so much for it (if you’re selling.)

    If you haven’t, try searching under the name “Granactive Retinoid.” Sometimes it’s called that.

    You would need to reach out to Grant for a price quote;

    @Microformulation @emma1985 thanks.

    Is this product patented by this company or it has other manufacturers too?

    Is it because it’s newer? (Not really evidence based) or just not good outcomes?

    @Rockstargirl the only available data on HPR comes directly from Grant, the manufacturer. I don’t think any independent, peer-reviewed studies exist.

    Yes it’s very new. When I looked into it last year the only existing research was conducted by the manufacturer.
