My liquid detergent ph is 11.4, how can I bring it down to 7-8. I have treated it with 1% citric acid but significant change. Kindly assist.

How did you reach 11.4 pH is the first question that comes to mind?

There was a mistake in my measurement. I used NaOH (99%) instead of NaOH (50%) of the same amount as neutralizer.

Well I suppose if it is about salvaging the batch then take a small sample from the batch and start adding citric acid (50% solution) in little increments and keep checking the pH till you achieve 7 or 8. I hope other senior mentors can give you a better advice, this is the best I could think of.

Or you could try a different acid like HCl.  That might make too much salt but could bring it down to 7 or 8 without having to add as much.  Just test it in a small batch first.
