    Hello everyone,

    I am making transparent hand wash on commercial scale with multiple variants, all have different colors. However, i face issue in the color fading of the same. Kindly suggest how to resolve this issue. Please check the formula below

    Water 80%

    SLES (70%) 8%

    2Na-EDTA 0.1%

    Methyl Paraben 0.1%

    CAPB 5%

    CDEA 1%

    Glycerin 1%

    Nacl 2%

    Fragrance

    Color

    * products are not exposed to excessive heat or sunlight.

    It can actually be many things. Fragrance oxidation is a possibility, but if it happens in all variants, then it’s not that. Dyes are pH sensitive, so check the pH of your product. The last one is UV radiation, for which products in transparent bottles usually have a UV filter like benzophenone-4.

    The ph of hand wash lies in between 5.5 to 6.5. However, this phenomena happens in lemon and peach color mostly.
