Why is this formula failing? There is some slimy material settling down…

    Phase A-

    Dibutyl Adipate 20%

    Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine 1%

    Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate 2%

    Octocrylene 7%

    Phase B-

    C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate 40%

    Coco-Caprylate/ Caprate 21.38%

    Silica Dimethyl Silylate 1%

    Phase C-

    Linum Usitatissimum (Flaxseed) Oil 3%

Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil 3%

    Mixed Tocopherols 1%

Neelinatural Oleoresin Paprika, OS 40000CU Liquid {INCI Name: Capsicum Annuum (Paprika) Fruit Extract (and) Vegetable Oil} 0.02% (liquid)

Vanilla Planifolia Fruit CO₂ Oil 0.36% (aroma oil)

Cedrus Atlantica (Cedarwood Atlas) Bark Oil 0.24% (essential oil)

    1. Combine Phase A ingredients in a heat resistant beaker and heat (to 85°C), hold (for 10 mins), slow-cool (<1°C drop per minute). Gently sweep mix constantly.

    2. In a separate beaker, combine Phase B ingredients. Then heat to 70°C for 3 minutes while homogenising to de-agglomerate the fumed silica powder.

    3. Add Phase B to Phase A when Phase A temperature drops to about 70°C.

    4. Add Phase C (except tocopherol, vanilla extract, cedarwood oil) when Phase A+B temperature drops to about 60°C.

    5. When the temperature drops to about 35°C, add the volatile Phase C ingredients.
