    Hello everyone,

I’m new to the cosmetic formulation world and I was wondering where to shop for high quality undiluted and super concentrated fragrance oils, if possible, phthalates free. I found that the ones I get from platforms like Brambleberry, and a few other brands I’ve gotten off of Amazon require me to use at least 1-1.5%, some even 2% in my hair product formulations to get a medium strength scent.

I want to cut down on the amount of fragrance I use to about .5% total in my formulations. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
    Many thanks,

    Sasse

I like BulkApothecary for small batches. Find them to be pretty fast and reasonably priced.

Their Love Spell fragrance is my favorite.

Thank you ngarayeva001 and alchemist01 for commenting!

With your suggestions, will it be possible to use .5% FO total in a formulation?

It really depends on the oil. I think fragrance is more of a QS step than anything else, but yes, I would say most synthetic fragrance oils I’ve used can do the job at (or often below) 0.5%.
