Hi! I’m formulating a face cream for acne prone skin using natural oils. I’m using Emulsifying Wax as an emulsifier. Is E Wax considered comedogenic? Should I use KOH and Stearic acid instead?
I tried KOH and stearic acid and the output was a low density fluffy cream! Please give me some advice on this!

I’m sorry to say this, but you obviously lack the knowledge required for such a project. What you made may have looked like a cream, but actually, you made soap.

Pls help me understand as I’ve read soaps like K Stearate have been used for emulsions.
And also please let me know if using e Wax could possibly have an adverse effect on breakout prone skin..

@Belassi is right, you have made soap not cream
Simply you can test your product, take some and mix it with water and see if it does foam or not, the rest is obvious.

I can’t comment on e wax, sorry. It could be any one of a number of things.

No, Ewax is not particularly comedogenic.

You’ll get better replies if you have a more specific question and also share your formula.  “Give me some advice” is not specific enough.
