Posted by AbdulRahim on December 2, 2019 at 6:11 pmI have done many experiments to make dish wash.
But it becomes cloudy and precipitate settled down after 2 or 3 days.
I am using
Water 76 %
NaOH 2.8 % prior mixed in water.
LABSA 19.2 %
pH adjusted b/w 5 -7

It sounds like a problem with the solubility of the neutralised LABSA.Try replacing some of the NaOH with TEA, as the solubility of the TEA salt of LABSA is higher than the sodium salt.
-
Very high percentage of LABSA . Use below 8% , add 4 % SLES , CAPB ; CDEA . Follow the dissolve rule .
-
LBSA % TOO MUCH HIGH
AND WHAT IS THE PH OF FINAL PRODUCT -
Add SXS to increase solubility of Labsa salt in water if you really need such high %.

High percentage LABSA will surely become cloudy.
You’d need to both reduce LABSA and add some SLES, CAPB, CDEA, alcohol or propylene glycol to rise its cloud point (the temperature at which it becomes cloudy).
P.S.
Read the study quoted in this post and you’ll see why
https://chemistscorner.com/cosmeticsciencetalk/discussion/6658/why-i-cant-replicate-the-same-results-with-the-formula-used-in-this-dishwash-scientific-studyBy the way, can you try to replicate the formula they suggested to see if it works for you?
It is: 10% LABSA, 2% SLES, 2% CAPB. All of them in an active basis. -
I suggest you this formulation
1. Water
2. Caustic soda 1.5
3. LABSA 11
4. SLES(70) 8
5. STPP 1
6. SALT 1
7. COLOR
PH 10
DON’T ADD PERFUME IN DISHWASH FORMULATION
THE SLES WILL SOLVE THE PRECIPITATION PROBLEM -

Try this
Sles 8 percent
Labsa 2 -3 percent
Sls 1 percent
Cocobetaine 3 percent works perfectly
Naoh 5 gram
Plus citric acid 5 gram
and tartaric 1 gra
Plus sodium citrate 2-3 gram
Other additives
Glycerin
Triethanolamine qs . For 1 litre -
I suggest you this formulation
1. Water - How much
2. Caustic soda 1.5
1.5kg?
3. LABSA 11—-11 kg?
4. SLES(70) 8—-8kg?
5. STPP 1—-1kg?
6. SALT 1
1kg?
7. COLOR
PH 10
kindly mentioned complete quantity of each -
Is STPP = Sodium Tri Poly Phosphate?
If so, get rid of it. Phosphates cause algae bloom.
