    Hi

I have made a body wash with SCI and CAPB and then I added 5% curcylic 40. What happened was that I lost all the viscosity and I had to add HEC to thicken it again.

Does anybody know whether Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine is compatible with SCI.

    Regards to everybody.

Sci is not stable at lower pH and Curcylic 40 may have reduced its ph too much.

I agree that it is exactly what happened. 5% of Curcylic is 2% of Salicylic Acid. Since pKa is below 3%, SA drops pH very much and the solution is losing the viscosity.

Thanks @fareloz @Abdullah for the feedback. I decided to swap SCI for Sodium cocoyl glutamate.
