  • COSMOS Approved Alternative for Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate in face cream?

I’ve been using hydroxypropyl starch phosphate at 1% and 2% in oil-in-water face creams as a thickener, emulsion stabilizer, but mainly for improved skin feel and less greasiness. What could I use instead that is COSMOS approved? Thank you!

Rise starch for example? But you’ll not get the same effect. Or Caolin maybe…

Thank you! would you try those at the same percentage? Do you think they’ll still help with similar skin feel & less greasiness, just aren’t going to stablize?
