  • Can I heat retinyl palmitate to 120F briefly and retain stability in anhydrous formula?

    Hi all. I have a balm I’m creating and want to add retinol to the formula, but I’m unsure if I’ll inactivate the retinol (retinyl palmitate in this case) if I add it to the melted oil mixture before final pour. 

    Any advice appreciated!
