Bullet Lipstick breaking from bottom plz guide
hi i m making bullet lipsticks and going very well..texture formula all is well but having an issue my Lipstick get broken from bottom as seen in picture. my Lipstick base formula is:
candelila wax 12.5%
carnauba wax 12.5%
Cetyl alcohol 2%
micro crystalline wax 1%Castor oil 28%
isododecane 2%
caprylic capric 40%
silica dimythyl silylate 0.5%
kaolin clay 0.5%
magnesium stearate 0.5%
magnesium myristate 0.5%i add 1gram powder pigment in 5 grams base
i have already made pigment blends combination of colors,titanium,kaolin etc.formula is best doing great but sometime lipstick get broken from bottom.

google ‘lipstick break test’ it is a thing and there are instruments dedicated to it. otherwise, trial and error after adding additional wax. Try candelilla. Speak to Ross Waxes or Strahl&Pitsch for their recommendation.
