    Hi everyone! I just want to ask if this formulation I made for a body wash is reasonable. Thanks a lot!

    Aqua 64.90%

    Disodium
    EDTA 0.10%

    Glycerin
    2.00%

    Sodium
    Lauryl Sulfate 20.00%

    Cocamidopropyl
    betaine 6.00%

    Cocamide MEA
    2.00%

    Glycol
    Stearate 1.50%

    Fragrance
    1.00%

    DMDM
    Hydantoin 0.50%

    Citric Acid
    qs

    Sodium Chloride 2.00%

    DMDMH is a formaldehyde re leaser but good preservative

    I would reduce the level of Glycerine to 1% or increase the level of Betaine to 8%

    @mcars look out for the salt. since you have here 20% sles NaCl maybe less than 1%. Better yet read up about the salt curve.

    I would change the Sodium Lauryl Sulfate into Sodium Laureth Sulfate
