  • Best humectant for lip balm

I’ve had some success with using vegetable glycerin in lip balm but I am looking for a way to either solubalize it into the lip balm since the precipitation ruins packaging and long term storage hassles…is there any humectant that can replace vegetable glycerin in an anhydrous lip balm? Or if I used a fatty alcohol in the lip balm, could that help with the stability?

I actually use this, its incredible! The vegetable glycerin just adds such a soft touch, shame it tends to ruin packaging.
