Does anyone know what could be causing malodor to form in a fragrance free aerosol formula after 2 week stability in the can at 50C? The malodor is not present at regular temperature. Any ingredients that commonly cause this?

It’s an AHA spray, Nitrogen propelled.

We could be of more help if you list all the ingredients in the formula. It’s probably some kind of oxidation reaction.

Unfortunately I can’t share the full IL due to confidentiality but I figured I would give it a shot in the forum anyway.

If you are selling a product, you must declare the LOI on the package anyway.
