  what is the recommended usage for 1,2 hexanediol? I asked the supplier and he said 2-3%, is it right? Just to double check.

  I believe you can use 0.5- 1 % as a booster but cannot guarantee this will help your efficacy. try adding something else on top of your hexanediol
