    hello everyone, i am new at formulation please correct me, given formulation not given proper stucture and after wash my hair feel very dry if i low sles percentage not getting foam

    i take trial more than 40 times, refer cosmetology book and also try chat gpt but it didnt work

    not relevant to function - but I’d use DMDM at no greater than 2500-3000 ppm active.

    You seem to have a lot of overlap in your formula with similar ingredients performing similar functions (e.g. EGMS/EGDS/GMS and PQ7/PQ10/GHTC/Cetrimonium Chloride). Try just using one of each at the maximum recommended percentage to see if this makes a difference.

    Try reducing the jojoba oil and vitamin E to 0.01% as these raw materials will reduce your foam and just wash away so don’t have any real benefit.

    You could also try increasing CAPB to improve foaming.

      I agree with @ozgirl ….and remove Glycerin and Sodium PCA (or use them at claim levels, like 0.01%).

    @snow rider You’re on the right track! Try reducing jojoba oil and vitamin E slightly and increasing Cocamidopropyl Betaine to improve foam. Simplifying some redundant ingredients could also boost consistency.
