Spray on hair treatment
Working on a spray on hair treatment but need a rheology modifier or emulsifier that can suspend some actives in a 90% water phase without leaving the hair sticky or hard. We are using some powder actives like catalase and tyrosine with total up to around 5%.
The issue is that our benchmark is a shake before using product but the client would ideally like a homogeneous product. We have tried using xanthan gum and it works to keep the formula together but then in leaves the hair with a residue feeling. We are working around pH 6.8. We have a gelled version that we are moving forward with but they are looking to have a spray on version as well.
