the use of preservatives in W/O emulsions
Hello, I’d like to ask a question regarding the use of preservatives in W/O emulsions. In a water-in-oil emulsion, is it acceptable to add a water-soluble preservative during the cool-down phase? I’m concerned about its effectiveness, since the continuous phase is oil, and whether adding it at that stage could affect the emulsion’s stability or lead to destabilization.
