  Roll-On and Deos for Tweens

  I’m looking for formulate a non-harsh, possibly chemical free roll-ons for the tween market.

  My starting formula is:

  Water 62.4%

  Aluminum Hydrochlorate 30%

  Steareth 2 2.5%

  Sunflower Oil 3%

  Steareth 20 0.6%

  Perfume 1.5%

  Any recommendations on how to make above less harsh and more kid friendly.

  This is antiperspirant with excessive active - Aluminum chlorohydrate max is 25%. If irritation it’s probably this ingredient that you could eliminate - making it a simple deodorant. You’ll need a preservative..

  No idea how you could defend “chemical free”.

  Apart from what Dr. Phil said (too harsh, no way “chemical free”, plus lack of preservative), I hope you’re aware that’s an antiperspirant, not a deodorant.
