  • Seeking Advice: Silverson L5M-A vs. Ross HSM-100LCI-T for Cosmetic Applications

I need advice on which homogenizer to choose. I’m torn between two well-known brands: the Silverson Laboratory L5M-A and the Ross Laboratory HSM-100LCI-T. Both laboratory mixers seem very comparable. From what I know, Silverson is considered the top high-shear laboratory mixer in the cosmetic industry and is known for its excellent customer service. On the other hand, Ross has been around for about 180 years, making it an older and more established brand. They offer repair, reconditioning, and parts assembly services, but I’m unsure about their customer support. If anyone has experience with both mixers, I’d appreciate your input. Thank you!
