    Hi, all.

I am interested in reverse-engineering aspects of the below formulation.

I would imagine the concentration of the surfactant listed first, decyl glucoside, would need to be at least 5% for this product to produce sufficient foam (which of course means glycerin and ethanol are present at 5%-plus, as well). Does that sound like a correct assumption, or not really?

    Thank you.

Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Alcohol, Decyl Glucoside, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Water, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Coco-Glucoside, Inulin, Sodium Cocoyl/Olivoyl Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, Cicer Arietinum Seed Extract, Pyrus Cydonia Seed Extract, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Citral*, Geraniol*, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Fructosyl Cocoate/Olivate, Fructose, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum.

Instead of reverse engineer it, I’d try to make it better, by removing both Glycerin, Ethanol and all of those useless extracts, adding a broad spectrum preservation system, and a cationic polymer for conditioning.
