Always hard to beat the global ‘go to’ emulsifier, the ‘165’ type. INCI: Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG 100 Stearate. To give additional boosting beyond the fatty alcohol… consider a water gelling agent, like a gum or polymeric. You can also add an anionic co-emulsifier at a rate of 1 part to 10, things like GSC, SSG, or PCP.

    Good luck.

I’d add that without knowing the oil that you are trying to emulsify, it’s difficult to advise which emulsifier to use. A polymeric emulsifier like Pemulen could be useful.

Hi Perry! The oils are: Grapeseed oil, Cedarwood, Avocado, Pumpkin seed, Arctium Lappa Root (extracted from Olive oil). That’ll go into a mixture of Rosemary Water mixed with Flaxseed gel. What would you recommend?

Preservatives: Benzyl Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate. 1.5%

      Co emulsifier: Cetearyl Alcohol
