Hey! I need your help please. I’m going to make a natural shampoo. The formulation separates. White particles float in the middle of mass. Why it separated?

    Water 55,8%

    Glycerin 3%

    Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate 1%

    Coco Glucoside 6%

    Betaine Cocamidopropyl 10%

    Lauryl Glucoside 21%

    EPSOM 0,7%

    Amber extract 0,2%

    <em style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(-bb-body-text-color);”> Sweet Almond Oil 0,5%

    Parfum 0,4%

    citric Acid ( 50%) 0,9%

    Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride 0,5%

Epsom salt is divalent magnesium, not a friend to cationic guar HPTC. That is likely culprit for flocculant. Or your order of addition is all meshuggenah. It should be: water > Guar HPTC > CAPB > APG > anionic > amber stuff, fragrance, preservative. DEL the glycerin and oil as they are going nowhere but into your sewer system not your hair.
