Preservative in Body Wash
Do you think a body wash formulation with ~18% total active surfactant and 0.01% IPMP needs a preservative?

Isn’t ipmp already a broad spectrum antimicrobial? and that high content of surfactant prevents microbial growth? why do you think it still needs additional preservative?

No - and there is no “broad spectrum” preservative. 18% is not “high” - high (70%) surfactant raw at high pH aq. surfactants may not need preservation. This product requires preservation.

Curious - can you say where you heard it was a preservative and that surfactants at that level did not require preservation?
