  Cholesterol melting temperature

  Since the melting point of cholesterol is 300°F, is it safe to assume that adding it to an oil phase that isn’t heated that high is pretty much useless?

  Unless it dissolves spontaneously, yes.

  It will dissolve in your oil phase.
