  Dimethicone viscosity

  Hi, 
  i am trying to buy dimethicone for my shampoo and conditioner but it have wide range of viscosity. What viscosity should i go with? And why?

  Can i dilute it to lower viscosity?

  Should i use amodimethicone instead?
