    Hello!! I’m facing a problem adding glyceryl oleate in shower gel during cold process. Does anyone knows in what step it should be added or if it needs to be mixed with a specific ingredient before adding it to the mixture? Thank you!!!

    @Abdullah i’m formulating a natural shower gel and i wanted to add glyceryl oleate for softening effect and at the same time as thickener. Im using sodium cocosulfate and coco glucoside. The problem is that the glyceryl oleate is not miscible with the formula unless heated. is there any way to make it soluble without heating my mixture?

    @Anna_Maria You could try making a premix with the fragrance. If you use phenoxyethanol, you could add it to that mixture as well.

    Hello @ketchito thank you for your answer. Do you think i can premix it with coco glucoside?

    Maybe you are using too much GMO or too little surfactants.

    It is liquid and it doesn’t need heating to mix with surfactants

    Try using Lamesoft PO65 from BASF. It is glyceryl oleate blended with coco glucoside. It is cold processable.

    @Anna_Maria

    Just pre-mix it with your Coco Glucoside.  0.5% to 1.0% Glyceryl Oleate should do the trick
