  • Emulsifier alternative to Glyceryl Stearate + PEG-100 Stearate for low pH AHA body lotions?

I see this combo used everywhere, and for good reason, it’s cheap, compatible with 10% AHAs and goes on smoothly, less waxy than e.g. Ewax.

    Any better options out there?

You can always try with cationic emulsifiers e.g. Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Behentrimonium Chloride

Thanks Przemyslaw, they’re definitely interesting and have very glidy skin feel (they’re used in hair conditioners in part for this reason), what advantages do they have over GS+PEG-100 apart from not containing any ethoxylated compounds?
