  BHA and BHT in gel formula ??

  could I use BHA with BHT by 0.02% and 0.01% respectively , to be sufficient as a preservative system ?? ” alcoholic gel ”

  I don’t think so, those are antioxidants, not preservatives.

  I agree with Doreen, however my question is what is your formula? Alcohol is self preserving at a certain concentration.

  Ethanol 96% by % of 62.5 … this formula given by someone to be applied so do u think that BHA and BHT not important ??

  62,5% of 96% ethanol? Then extra preservatives shouldn’t be necessary. I have no idea what your whole formula is, so I can’t really say something about the importance of adding both BHA and BHT.
