  How to thick acid slurry and caustic soda solution amd make it transparemt.

  Hi all
  I am using sodium chloride with this solution but i am not getting the thickness.  
  Please reply and solve my problem

  Sodium hydroxide
  Sles
  Preservative
  Perfume
  Urea
  Salt
  Water

  Do the salt curve up to 2% and check what’s the maximum viscosity you can get. If not enough, you may use proper thickener like gums, cellulose derivatives, polymers etc,

  Seems like a typical dish wash recipe, everything  depends on the dosage of each ingredient and what’s the AM you are targetting among other things like final pH, viscosity, etc.

  Thankyou emm88 for your valuable suggestion.  Now i am using cellulose but problem is that it is not transparent it is very cloudy.  I want transparecy in dw..

  That’s usually a neutralization issue. What’s the pH?.

  Nope, it is the cellulose issue. Maybe cheap formulation being thickened with cellulose. Sorry won’t work.
