what tests include in the bulk base ?

so after consulting with you guys here {and you helped me a lot thank you} i mailed the lab who manufactured the base i chose
and got the next answer:
We test for color, viscosity, PH, odor, stability, and appearance. We do offer Certificates of Analysis for products that contains item code, item description, color, odor, appearance, and PH range. It also includes the batch number, date it was made, the quantity of the product made, and who reviewed and approved the product
is that enough?
should i look to other tests include?

You should have a Preservative Effectiveness Test (PET) done on the Forulma and repeated anytime the formula is changed whatsoever.
For each Production run you would want Micro (APC) performed. -

This is a knock off, the product is very similar to the Evelyn & Crabtree line. It’s a carbomer cream with shea butter. Very similar to a popular line I began making around four years ago and should be quite stable. In fact it can be diluted with water quite a bit without causing emulsion breakdown, so I’ll hazard a guess that you will have little or no problems adding whatever you like, just do not use shear. You might like to check the shea is organic class A because in my experience there is sufficient retinol in it to cause fading of photo-age spots and lightening/evening of skin tone over time.

By the way, is it a light pink / beige colour? That is what I would expect.

hi belassi ,thanks on the info no its not light pinkbeige and for the water part very please to know because i wanted to dilute it but didnt know if it will hold with water& fragrance what do you mean shear?
