  Ethyl Macadamiate

  Can anyone recommend a substitute for Ethyl Macadamiate that doesn’t stain clothing?  I’m trying to adjust a formula for a deodorant we’re making (formula below).  The Ethyl Macadamiate is wonderful for application purposes because it makes it so the deodorant can glide really easily, but leaves an oily residue behind on clothing.  I’m looking to replace it with something that still helps with application but doesn’t leave a stain behind.  

  INCI: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Maranta arudinacea (Arrowroot) Root Powder, Sodium Bicarbonate, Stearyl Alcohol, Ethyl Macadamiate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Jojoba Esters, Tocopherol

  If you want to go silicone free try Cetiol Ultimate from BASF. Its a veg based volatile (Undecane and Tridecane). It flashes clean and will help improve deodorant aesthetic.
