  • Eraser rub off like particle after face cream application

Posted by sandydijon on March 9, 2016 at 10:07 pm

When I apply some of the face creams, my face got some eraser rub off like particles. Is the creams contain too much thickeners or emulsifiers? My face got the burning like sensation when apply some gel-creams. Is it because my skin is too dry?

I have been trying many different products recently.

Are you talking of emulsions or gels?
Are they DIY or comercial products? ingredients, formulas?
Do they contain ethanol /glycols? they can cause irritation.
    More information is needed ;)

Hi they are emulsion. Contain Butylene Glycol

I bought some korean made emulsion and gel and they are good. not sure why some local made products give me such a reaction with almost the same ingredients.

I will find out the ingredients and post here

Butylene glycol is not very common to produce allergic reactions.

We wait for the rest of ingredients.

I have had this problem with products that contain gum (like xantham that I use for pre-gelling my water phase).  I started out with .6% xantham and am down to .2% and no longer have this problem.
