Could anyone share how they go about sanitizing their mixing/filling equipment? We are looking to implement a standardized routine after processing and can find very little information on the subject. I’ve read that a 3-5% solution of citric acid solution can work well. My other thought was using a diluted mix of isopropyl alcohol. We are cleaning a variety of drums, mixers, filling lines, etc. Of course we are using hot water too at around 150F.

    Thanks for any input!

Peracetic Acid is an excellent choice as it naturally degrades
