  • Which amphoacetate is a better option than CAPB as cosurfactant for deposition

I want to replace CAPB with amphoacetate in my shampoos.

They have SLES as primary surfactant, CAPB as cosurfactant, cationic guar and silicone.

The ratio of primary: secondary surfactant is 7:1 - 10:1 in different products.

The main purpose is to increase deposition of silicone , improve the hair conditioning and feel and make the Product a bit milder if it does.

    My questions are

    1. Is amphoacetate a better cosurfactant than CAPB for this purpose is such Products?

    2. Which amphoacetate is better for this purpose?

    -sodium Cocoamphoacetate

    -Sodium lauroamphoacetate

    -disodium cocoamphodiacetate

    3. If amphoacetate is not a better option than CAPB for this purpose then, what is the best cosurfactant for this purpose? Price doesn’t matter.
