What Is the best chemical that can become FOAMY and is an emilsifier for Oil with Water?
I have oil and water mixed…80 percent water 20 percent oil..in 8 0z……i put a gram of Suga D mulse d9 but its not mixing well….also still watery when i use the foamer bottle i put it in…is there something i can add thats good for foaming and emulsifying while holding titanium dioxide within the liquid at equal levels so the water oil mix dosent stay a nasty yellow color? i added titanium doixide and it sunk to the bottom in 2 days….? will the titanium dioxide clog up my foaming device sprayer pump by the way?
do i have to buy a mixing machine to make the suga d9 mulse fully emulsify properly? what I did was heat water in a stove pot and stir the oil and suga d9 mulse into it originally….

The best bet here is to look at your problem from first principles again.
Poly Suga-Mulse D9 (herein ‘PSMD9’) has HLB of 12-14 so falls into the realm of emulsifying agents/detergents, and may or may not foam. 20% oils is quite high, so that would need to be addressed with an appropriate amount of PSMD9 - how did you decide on 1g?
The more the surfactant is attempting to solubilise oils, the less it’ll be doing at lowering surface tension with respect to generating bubbles.
I would guess that you need more surfactant in your system to solubilise that amount of oil. You might also need a bit faster mixing to create a suitable emulsion.
By all means read the TDS for PSMD9 - it stipulates between 2-7% required to solubilise 1% of the example essential oils, so 1g to 1.6oz isn’t going to suffice.I think it’d be prudent to look at fundamentals of emulsifiers before approaching something like this. Or ask why you might need 20% oils (which are also unspecified). Or why you might need titanium dioxide despite not achieving a stable emulsion, or why you’re wanting to use a foam sprayer and also commenting on the mixture being too ‘watery’.
This isn’t a personal attack so please don’t take offence. It’s just trying to highlight the areas that might be valuable to look so you can approach these types of projects in a broader sense going forwards. The more info we receive also, the better.

What type of product are you trying to make? You have several threads started on the forum for the same problem but at no point do you mention what you are trying to make. You need to provide this information along with a complete formula to get any real help.If you want to emulsify oil into water to form a lotion/cream type product you will generally get a white product but to do this you will need an emulsifier and a stirrer. You can start with a basic emulsifier like emulsifying wax NF until you understand the basics of creating lotions/creams and then move onto others.If you are trying to just solubilise a small amount of oil into water (for example an essential oil at 1%) you can use your Poly Suga mulse D9 but this will not be white. You also need to pay attention to recommended usage rates.You also mention the product needing to be foamy but oils generally reduce foaming of surfactants/emulsifiers but until we know more we can’t really help.Titanium dioxide is not the solution to your problem.Don’t get discouraged just give us some more information and we can try and help further.

I chose 1 gram because I have 1000 grams and want to make it last….there was so instructions or manual I could find on the internet on how to use suga d musle, I searched everywhere…what is the standard usage per oz of distilled water? do you have a link? I was using 8oz of water! you said 1.6 oz to 1 gram of Suga Mulse wont suffice? Suga mulse was pretty expensive…. so how much should I use?

If you are just using water and EO, you are just going to have some fragrant water, this isn’t going to foam. If you are wanting to create a fragrant spray, I would suggest ethanol 95%(190 proof) 55%-75% Distilled water, and fragrance oil or essential oil 1-2%. I found this worked best when I made some body and room sprays. But I don’t know the regulations on selling something with alcohol in it. I haven’t used Poly suga mulse, so I don’t know the percentage you would use, but try looking the information up using the INCI: Sorbitan Oleate Decylglucoside Crosspolymer or CAS #: 1443994-56-6. You could use distilled water, poly suga mulse, essential oil 0.5-1.5%, and a broad spectrum preservative.
