    I used rather high amounts of both (3-5%) in formulations with Aristoflex AVC, Sepinov EMT 10 and Pemulen Ez4U. No impact on viscosity. Can’t comment on other polymeric emulsifiers but in my experience, Aristoflex is one of the trickiest and if Aristoflex isn’t impacted others wouldn’t be either.

    Would sodium benzoate at 0.4% in a face cream cause significant viscosity loss if using Ultrez 30 at 0.4%?

    I think acrylate polymer like ultrez 30 won’t get along with cationic substances like bataine and salts like sodium benzoate, since it will interfere the charge repulsion in acrylate to thicken
