testing lab recommendations
- For a USDA certified organic product, I know the manufacturing facility needs to be certified organic and the raw materials I have been using are certified organic, but does the finished product need to be sent off for testing in order to have the certification on the label? If so, does anyone have recommendations for a testing lab in the US?
- Recommendation for bio-based certification testing for finished products?
- Recommendation for a claims testing lab in order to state hypoallergenic and pediatrician and dermatologist tested/recommended

One more question, instead of going through the organic certification process for the finished product, are we able to identify the organic ingredients on the info panel even if we are using 100% organic ingredients?
From NOP - “Less than 70 percent organic ingredients-
-Products cannot use the term “organic”
anywhere on the principal display panel.
However, they may identify the specific
ingredients that are USDA-certified as
being organically produced on the
ingredients statement on the information
panel. Products may not display the
USDA Organic Seal and may not display
a certifying agent’s name and address.
(Water and salt are also excluded here.)”
